Responsible to work carefully with our modern-day suppliers and Business Development Managers discussing modern manufacturer activations and techniques alongside with in addition manufacturer and product improvement on a per market basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key duties consist of however no longer confined to:
International and neighborhood product sourcing of frozen commodities.
Purchasing / Procurement of International merchandise with present and new suppliers.
Development of the company’s’ product range.
Negotiation of pricing, rebates and contract discounts.
Negotiation and managing of claims.
Handling the negotiation of cycle deals, promotions, and POS fabric for applicable markets.
Helping to construct and advance new manufacturers for new markets.
Attending Trade Fairs, neighborhood and global travel.
Experienced in exclusivity, pricing, route to market / fee chains, cycle deals, claims process, rebates and settlements.
Requirements:
Skills and experience
Minimum three years’ trip in worldwide procurement of frozen commodities, ideally frozen rooster and fish.
Offshore/international shopping for journey is essential!
Maintaining and growing dealer relationships
Understanding of exports, delivery markets and INCO terms.
Experience in operations and logistics would be advantageous.
Qualifications
Completed Matric with Maths
Relevant Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
Personality Fit
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent conversation and interpersonal skills.
Relationship constructing skills.
An potential to work independently however additionally inside a group structure.
Proactive and assertive, in a position to take calculated decisions.
