Introduction
Implement audit initiatives to promote the secure, wonderful and environment friendly implementation of IT architectures and offerings inside the authorities sector.

Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in audit committee/steering committee conferences with Business Unit (BU) administration as and when required
Conduct audit protecting the three audit phases:
Planning
Execution
Reporting
Plan the audit:
Define the targets of the audit
Define the scope of the audit
Identify benchmarks to be utilised
Assess the dangers from supply documentation
Compile the audit plan
Conduct a walk-through manner with the applicable position players
Execute tests, inclusive of:
Compliance to policies, procedures, requirements and specifications
Adequacy on goals
Reliability of information
Efficiency and effectiveness of operations
Safeguarding of assets
Generate audit reviews indicating:
Audit findings
Recommendations
Conduct a meeting, the place appropriate, to discuss:
Accepted hints to be carried out and timelines applicable
Rejected pointers and inner moves to be implemented
Target dates for implementation and review
Supervise subordinates in the execution of the three audit phases
Supervise group conferences involving the course and development on the audits
Provide practise to auditors on audit associated matters
Conduct the subject work in accordance with insurance policies and procedures
Communicate to Manager and Senior Manager on development or boundaries at some point of the audit
Submit the audit record for publishing and archiving
Finalise the audit file and post for archiving in accordance with insurance policies and procedures
Provide aid in the evaluation of contract work and fantastic assurance
Provide inputs to Information Systems Audit strategic plans
Provide education on Organisation audit approach
Promote and manipulate sound inner controls inside the Business Unit
Keep abreast of the contemporary improvement at the Organisation
Manage audits inside the allotted time frame
Manage audits in adherence to interior processes, insurance policies and procedures
Desired Experience & Qualification
B Degree in Auditing/ Computer Science/ Informatics or National Diploma in Auditing/ IT
Advantage: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Knowledge and perception of the standards of finance and the elements worried in finance; should be in a position to follow PFMA and MFMA concepts and adhere to due dates
Knowledge of Auditing of GCR and commercial enterprise method reviews
Knowledge and capabilities in auditing database, running device and firewall reviews
