Description

Ensure complete Customer Service in the Store. Loading and merchandising of stock, shelf rate labelling and housekeeping inside certain vicinity of responsibility.

Requirements

Grade 12 or minimal of 1 (one) 12 months work associated experience
Ability to speak in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical place the place the role is available
Ability to operate fundamental calculations accurately
Must be inclined to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays
Must be in a position to work below pressure

Job Description

Customer Service

Acknowledge all Customers and decide their needs
Advise Customers efficaciously on product
Assist Customer with any product queries
Assist with Customer complaints timely
Add on sales, e.g. paint v/s paint brushes, thinners, etc.
Ensure environment friendly Customer carrier through making sure that Customer’s purchases are loaded except any delay’s
Ensure Customers buy are loaded cautiously barring detrimental the items or the Customers vehicle
Advise Customers on the extra offerings provided:
Delivery carrier / bulk deposits
Glass cutting
Plan reading
Credit programmes
Special orders
Trusses
Distant ordering
VIC Customer Programme
Must be licensed in Product Knowledge
Must be accessible in aisle of responsibility

Housekeeping

Ensure that your region is free of obstacles, inventory is merchandised without delay after being obtained and that Customers can enter and depart your aisle besides any chance of damage or irritation.
Correct shelf rate labelling inside vicinity of responsibility.
Ensure Checklist performed as required when on obligation with Canteen and Toilet / Showers schedule

Safety (OHSA) Requirements

Safety (OHSA) compliance (e.g., use of security gear, make certain Customer, and personnel safety) inside region of responsibility
Ensure region of duty (racking and bulk) inventory merchandised protected to Customers and Colleagues to cross safely inside Store
Report any discrepancies to the Store Manager

Ready for Business

Adhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB Way

Loss Prevention and Security

Identify any gaps in the displays, check out motives and document any issues to management
Be conscious of suspicious behaviours or human beings and document any suspicions to management
No product to be loaded for a Customer besides proof of buy or required documentation
