Key Responsibilities
Tasks/duties performed: • Knowledge and perception of safety, fitness and environmental legislation. • Knowledge of mining standards, strategies and logistics. • Knowledge of applicable legislation. • Performs a few easy repetitive duties involving commonly manual effort, e.g. sweeping, digging, loading, etc. • Works underneath supervision. • Duties can also consist of the operation of easy equipment/machinery. • Engage in fantastic teamwork. • Report any protection associated problems to the full-time Safety Representative. • Participate in required meetings. • Work inside relevant Safety, Regulations, Acts, Codes of Practice and standards.
