Job Description
Midas is looking for General Workers to be part of the Branch in Polokwane. To operate generic warehouse responsibilities such as inventory taking, binning, picking, packing, checking, shifting stock, and making sure that the warehouse is usually clean.
Position Overview
Specific Role Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators includes, however no longer constrained to.
Binning
Ensure the binning of incoming merchandise and the replenishment of stock from bulk to pick out places is carried out as per fashionable working techniques and requirements
Ensure new merchandise are allotted with bin area numbers in the right warehouse area
Ensure boxes are up to date and inventory allotted to new bin areas are mentioned to you most beneficial and updated
Assist in replenishment functions
Ensure all incoming items are obtained and checked as per employer standards
Picking
Ensure selecting of patron and department orders are being picked timorously to meet order reduce off times
Ensure choosing from bulk places are solely completed as choice bin when inventory is depleted and no longer replenished in the choosing segment or when selecting bulk orders to stop the breakage of pack sizes
Carry out all realistic and lawful preparation bearing on to work given to you by using your superior
Follow all applicable methods to extend environment friendly client satisfaction
Assist in inventory take procedures
Ensure housekeeping is achieved daily
Ensure double tests are achieved to keep excessive ranges of consumer pride and to stop loss of inventory
Ensure set preferred operational goals are finished consistently
Scanner Control
Issue scanners to all operators daily.
Book out scanners on the digital app.
Receive scanners returned from operators, investigate scanner for harm and e book returned into inventory on the digital app.
Report any injury to the supervisor
Complete the every day scanner problem spreadsheet
Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12, Literacy and Numeracy equivalent
At least three Years in a warehouse and or logistics environment- Desirable
Spares/Motor/Engine components knowledge, warehouse structures and procedures
Skills and Personal Attributes
Must be efficient, accurate, targeted and interest to detail
Must have numeracy and literacy skills
Self-motivated and inclined to go the greater mile
Must be a group player
Physically fit
Honest and exhibit integrity
