Tyre Serviceman
The Candidate

Qualifications &
Experience
Essential:
A legitimate and fantastic mild automobile driver’s licence
(South African Code 08).
Grade 12 National Certificate
Preferred:
A legitimate and splendid heavy automobile drivers’ licence
(South African Code 10).
Grade 12 National certificates with maths and science.

Key Performance Areas
Tasks
Duties
Comply with Otraco Southern Africa’s insurance policies strategies and instructions.
Comply with purchaser policies, methods and instructions.
Accurately file tyre trade or different data and file or ahead the statistics as required.
Perform tools tests and calibrations in accordance to procedures.
Fit and cast off wheels from any kind of car in accordance to procedures.
Mount and strip any kind of tyre and rim meeting in accordance to procedures.
Perform repairs to tyres and tubes in accordance to procedures.
Operate forklifts and tyre handlers in accordance to procedures.
Clean, paint and crack take a look at rim components.
Perform Inspections and decide the suitability of wheel elements to stay in service.
Maintain tyre running pressures in accordance with web page specifications.
Maintain a excessive exceptional of provider to the client.
Complete any different responsibilities as and when required.
Safety
Work safely and comply with Occupational Health and Safety Procedures.
Comply with website “lock out” / “tag out” procedures.
Report hazards, hazardous work prerequisites and equipment.
Immediately file incidents and accidents to the supervisor.
Comply with relevant guidelines as per on-site Safety Plan.
Use and hold Personal Protective Equipment in accordance to procedures.
Perform car pre-start exams in accordance to procedures.

Contribute to conferences and inspections in order to enhance security in the workplace.
Perform Risk Assessments and take manipulate movements to decrease the chance of Injury or injury to equipment.
Perform Planned Task Observations and document deviations. Ensure corrective moves are performed.

Comply with all secure work processes and record on completion.
