Job Summary
Studio 88, the greatest independent retailer of Branded Clothing and Footwear in Southern Africa, is searching for a dedicated and informed Sales Assistant to join our Operations team.

– Stock Control and inventory loss control

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12 – Senior Certificate.
Experience equivalent to 1-2 years in a income environment.
Previous experience in a retail environment, specifically in clothing stores, will be advantageous.
Proven capability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Experience in offering support to the income team, such as restocking apparel, folding and organizing clothing, and maintaining a easy and orderly store environment.
Proficiency in coping with cash, processing transactions, and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Inventory Control: Familiarity with inventory control procedures, consisting of restocking shelves, organizing stockrooms, and conducting spot checks.
Skills required
Strong interpersonal and customer carrier skills are fundamental for providing brilliant service to clients, helping with inquiries, and resolving customer issues.
Upselling and Cross-Selling: Ability to advocate complementary products or upsell to customers.
Have a right understanding of apparel products, brands, sizes, and fashion traits to assist clients effectively.
Basic knowledge of visible merchandising principles to assist maintain shop displays, arrange merchandise, and maintain the store visually appealing.
Strong verbal and written conversation skills for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
Time Management
Customer Relationship Management: Experience in constructing and maintaining client relationships to encourage repeat enterprise and brand loyalty.
