Mercury Integrations is seeking a new business developer with a proven track record in the security, renewable energy, or tech industries. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to source leads independently.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, designing and managing project budgets, overseeing project handovers, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The position is located in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa, and offers significant rewards and responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for:

• New business development & lead generation
• Servicing of inbound and outbound leads received.
• Building sales pipeline & achieving sales targets
• Customer Liaison
• Key Account Management
• Weekly, monthly, annual reporting
• Sales Booking Process, Job handover to Operations Manager
• Spec, solution design, project costing and quotations – Will work jointly with Operations Manager.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

• 5+ years’ Sales experience with proven track record in professional services, technical,networking, security solutions industry, Renewable energy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify competitors, benchmark, identify gaps and win orders.
• Matric plus Security – or, Networking, Electrical, renewable energy qualifications
• Min of 5 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel, and ability to conduct business sales analysis and translate results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations. (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s etc.)

Package & Remuneration

-20K + (based on experience)
